About the Exhibition
Bonds is a body of work created over the past year in my Suffield, Connecticut studio, where I live and paint alongside my three rescue dogs—Izzy, Abby, and Frank. Their quiet presence shapes my days and this series, which looks beyond likeness to the emotional truth of the bond itself.
Each portrait tells a story—some honor service and sacrifice, others highlight everyday companionship—but all reflect the enduring love that dogs bring into our lives. My hope is that Bonds invites you to pause, reflect, and perhaps recognize your own story mirrored back in paint.
